Rules and Conduct

DISCLAIMER

This group is for roleplayers of all levels; beginner, intermediate, and experienced. This means that this group is meant for fun but if there's not activity in the group at all, then we will start kicking people out. So please take the rules seriously but still have fun. Also, please respect our mods here. We all work hard to keep this group going and we would like some respect in return. Thank you.


GENERAL RULES

In no shape or form,  are you allowed to show ANY disrespect to ANYONE. Creator or character. You don't like someone in the group or their character, just keep it to a minimum here.

Be original. Do not copy a character design, weapon concept, etc. Please, it gets old real fast and rather unappealing to other people or potential roleplay partner or friend here.

Everyone is equal. We accept anyone as long as they agree to follow our rules as a member of this group. And turned in the application correctly. Mainly, just don't waste your time disrespecting other people because some of our mods will actually kick you out on that sole reason of being disrespectful to other members.

Have fun. Make friends. Show your art works and writing pieces.

You will be required to do at least one of these following in order to keep your active status in the group:

• Doing a quest once a month
• Updating your applications when you level up/change the skill sets
• Taking part of the ongoing events

DRAMA RULES

Though many wish a roleplay could go without drama, it can't be helped. Conflict creates plotlines. This does not mean you can drag vendettas in. Keep it out of the chat. Just don't DRAG other people into your drama because it is not their choice to be in the drama.

Real life drama will stay out of the chatrooms and group in general. Role Play drama stays in the chatroom or the group in general. Please try to do this. If you must deal with the drama, please use the note system or instant messaging.

Dispute between characters is bound to develop. Its a fact. Don't take it to heart and leave it in the group.

For the sake of yourself and others, please do NOT whine or complain about things outside of roleplay, we do care about you but we do not want/need your baggage.

Do not complain on the chatroom, comments, or even go to the admins about something insignificant such as “I was ignored” or “I’m soooo lonely…”

You are allowed to complain about something such as “This person raped my character” or “this person killed my character without my consent”, something along those lines will result in possible ban.



MATURE CONDUCT AND RELATIONSHIP RULES

It's inevitable, even mythical creatures have feelings. Relationships will form and certain aspects most may or may not be comfortable with. Please respect that there are some yaoi pairings, yuri pairings and hetero pairings. And because you like a pairing idea or whatnot, please do not push for it. Let it develop between the characters. And please do not try to break up another pairing, unless it is for the story or development of both characters, to cause drama for that couple. But if it is because you don't like the pairing and want to make one of the two characters to go to another pairing, then no, you may not break them up.

No Auto-pairing your characters with another character regardless if they were together before or how they look with each other. This is a sign of disrespect to be honest. If any Mod catches this, you and the other RPer will be called out on it and we would want an explanation, otherwise we will ask you to keep the relationship out of the group.

Sexual Content: You may request that it to be taken privately if you're uncomfortable seeing sexual stuff.

Marriage - Normally this can cause some drama but if you feel like your character and the other character can make it work, then go ahead but please PLEASE do not drag the whole group down with the marriage if it ends up failing/falling apart.

Babies - They are fine but they should fit into the story line some how. Please note a Mod ahead of the time before creating the baby. If you didn't note a Mod about the baby and use the kid in RP, you will get a warning. Second time is a kick.


ROLEPLAYING RULES

There is a Skype chatroom (and possibly a DeviantART chat room) for this group. Most seem to be on Skype lately but that doesn't mean we won't pop into the DA chatroom sometimes. For the Skype Chatroom: please note sketchstriker your username or add dreamartist025 to your contact list, let sketchstriker (DreamArtist025) know who you are and which rp group you are taking part of. Thank you.

If you’re not roleplaying and others are roleplaying, please use brackets for side conversations.

Please include everyone in the Role Plays. If there is a break in your character’s progression, include someone new. MEET NEW PEOPLE. That’s what we’re here for.

We are all eager to respond but you have to take turns. Wait for everyone to respond because it will get hectic. and be courteous, some are slower at typing than others. ALSO --- We have a lot of different qualities of RPers here, so if they are slow typers, PLEASE have a POST ORDER and STICK to it until everyone leaves or the RP scene is over.

Novella, Paragraph, Literal, Icons, and Script roleplays are allowed and accepted in this group.


FIGHTING RULES

Though fighting is not wanted by everyone, it's going to happen at some point. It is an unspoken rule that characters can not be god modded, but there has to be a winner in battle. Have the battle lean to something multiple people can join in on. The more people the better the battle usually. You MAY not god mod a character or a move UNLESS permission is given by a Mod and it's only used ONCE.

No Auto- Dodging! No Auto-hits! No Batman! Please keep it realistic and fair. Give them a chance to react rather than automatically killing them.

• Example of Auto-Dodging: Ashley saw the fist aiming for his jawline so he ducked at the spur of the moment, causing the fist to miss his jaw completely.
• Example of Auto-Hitting: Javierro was furious with the other man so he slammed the side of his foot against the other’s side before he even had a chance to react.
• Example of Batman: Raum, a darkness demon called Desidera Umbra, decided to use a light magic to cure himself.

You may have spars but in spars, there is no killing allowed.


CHARACTER LIMITATIONS AND RULES

There is no limit on how many characters you can have for this group but we do ask that you please not go overboard with the character creations because we do not want to see like 100 characters from one person and so on.

Once you join this group, you MUST have either a Mage or Guardian. One or the other. You could possibly create the other side later on.

We do not want people to only be demons or angels or supernatural creatures because we want to allow people to develop their humans too. Demons, Angels, and Supernatural Creatures ARE allowed.

You will level up your characters, according to the level system we provide. This WILL be part of your application checks, aka updating it.

You will also have skills set for each leveling up you do, which also allows you to update the application as a way to show activeness in the group.
